  2. In 2016, a Florida fisherman said he saw a mermaid swimming nearby his boat. He said she was about ten feet tall and had a tail that was greenish-brown.
  3. Divers in the Great Lakes said that they saw a mermaid swimming near an underwater shipwreck in 2017. They said she was about four feet tall and had a long, red tail.
These are just a few of the many times people have said they have seen mermaids. Even though there is no solid proof that mermaids exist, people all over the world continue to believe in them after seeing them.
